Roatan Operational Animal Rescue (ROAR)

Jennifer and Sherri, are stretched beyond words, they are continually running from one animal to the next. I suggested that I help. I have done a few things for them to help take some of the burden off of them.

My help consisted and still consists of:

  • a fully review of their website, providing suggestions for improvement and a way to make their life a little easier.
  • a review of Google, when you searched for them, they didn’t appear, instead another rescue on the island appeared. Which caused confusion to many as to what the differences were, and there are many.
  • uodate on google to get their site displaying when searched for.
  • a review of SEO in their website to ensure keywords were being used so that google search and other search engines would find them.
  • connection of all social media profiles to their website, with the addition of Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • setup of their website to utilize the blog, and share everything directly from the website to their social media platforms,
  • a baseline metric of the total numberof visitors to the website and what pages they were looking at and how long their were staying.
  • a 1 month review to see how things were progressing, which in a month they had increased their traffic. By 500%.
  • flyer development for a couple fundraisers, and suggestions on ensuring that the fundraiser outcomes were shown on the website and social media accounts.
  • we will be continuing throughout the year to ensure that all content is posted on the website and shared throughout social media and final metrics will be take.n and reported at the one year mark.
  • lastly, training to show how to do everything that I’ve suggested
