EasyPlex Acrylic

While working with suppliers, for my other business Kaylies Reclaimed Originals, I sourced EasyPlex Acrylic.

While talking with Adam Boutilier about products and a contest that I won for the design of a clock, we discovered that there was some experience, that I could provide to them to help them advance their new business.

They had a Facebook group, which they were using as their primary posting page, as well as an EasyPlex Facebook page where very little was being shared. I suggested that they back away from the group page, and focus more on their business page, which they did.

I prepared a Social Media Manegement Plan for them, to which they made many changes, and at the time, Adam Boutilier, Byron Redknap and Chris Layes were considering going and getting second jobs, because it wasn’t moving fast enough for them to make enough money. With the social media plan, and their commitment to growing the business they were able to increase their business. They continue to improve their business throughout North America.

The social media plan, provided them with:

  • a review of their website and social media platforms and suggestions for change
  • 365 days worth of posting content which they can use interchangeably between the group as well as their main business page.

They have grown their business, I did take a benchmark, which I will add to this post once I find it (I moved) and Adam is going to provide the updated numbers in a comment on this post.

Although, I am too far away from Alberta now, where their business is located and shipping materials will be expensive, EasyPlex Acrylic is growing all across North America and I believe that many of the changes I suggested, were successful.
